Thermostatic Valve

Thermostatic, that is, temperature-sensitive valves, reduce the passage of hot water to the radiator when the room temperature reaches the adjusted value and close it completely. As a result, cutting off the flow of hot water ensures less operation of combi and boilers, and natural gas savings of up to 15%. When the room temperature drops below the temperature we set, the water flow is gradually restored.

• Do not cover the top or front of your radiators with curtains, and do not place objects, furniture or marble. Covering the radiators increases fuel consumption by 15%.
• Setting your thermostat to 1 degree lower temperature allows you to save natural gas by 6%.
• When you are not at home, run your combi at low temperature instead of turning it off completely. Otherwise, when your boiler is restarted, it will overrun and consume natural gas in order to warm the cold house.
• Since dry air will make you feel less warm, make sure that the environment is humidified
• Take advantage of the sunlight by opening the curtains of your sun-soaked windows, even in winter.
• Check the radiator connection pipes, repair any water leaks.
• Do not dry your laundry in the room.
