How can I subscribe?
Subscribing to natural gas is quite easy. If a natural gas line passes through your street or if there is a service box in front of your building;
1. PREPARE THE NECESSARY APPLICATION DOCUMENTS FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL SUBSCRIPTION
COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISE:
- Submission of the identity card of the title deed owner (it must have the TR Identity Number on it.) If individual is foreign national; Passport/Blue Card/Temporary Housing Card,
- Subscriber Connection Procedure Information Declaration Form (to be filled in at the distribution company during the application process),
- Signatory Circular,
- Certificate of Authorisation,
- Power of Attorney (Copy of the notarised power of attorney if the subscription application is made by the third persons),
- Trade registry gazette or Trade registry Certificate
2. APPLY FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL SUBSCRIPTION AND SIGN A CONNECTION AGREEMENT
Subscriber Connection Fee
For non-residential use subscription applications, connection procedures are carried out by the selected certified companies (companies certified by Energy Market Regulatory Board with Service Certificate, the list of which can be accessed from the link: http://www.epdk.gov.tr/index.php/dogalgaz-piyasasi/sertifikalar) or distribution company on behalf of the subscriber.
If the connection procedures are carried out by the distribution company, the connection fee to be charged by the distribution company to the subscriber consists of the connection and regulatory meter fees. Total connection fee is calculated by adding 10% to the connection charge, which is calculated based on the type of connection, distance and the capacity of regulator meter. (VAT excluded)
If the subscriber asks the certified person to carry out the connection procedures, amount of connection fee to be charged to the person by the distribution company for the services to be provided is 2360TL for the first connection of 100 meter, and 15 TL is added for each meter.
If free consumers ask companies with construction and service certificate authorised by Energy Market Regulatory Board, detailed information regarding the work flow to be implemented can be requested from the Distribution Company.
3. CHOOSE YOUR CERTIFIED COMPANY AND HAVE YOUR INTERIOR INSTALLATION DONE
Selection of the Supplier Company and Gas Installation
DISTRIBUTION COMPANY certifies only the applicant companies, which meet the requirements specified in the Natural Gas Market law No. 4646 and the legislation enforced by Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
Subscribers are obliged to negotiate with the certified companies, select the company that is most eligible for them and draw up an OFFICIAL contract with this company. As per the provisions of the legislation, companies, which are not certified are prohibited from performing interior installation works.
In the contract you draw up with the interior installation company, make sure that the distribution company will perform an audit to confirm that the interior installation i eligible for gas supply after installation works, and the contract includes articles which protect your rights regarding delays in opening the gas which result from the defects in the installation.
This company will,
- Draw the project of the subscribers,
- Submit the finalized project to the approval of NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY,
- Take out all the occupational liability and installation all-risk insurance policies within the scope of the official contract drawn up with the subscriber (for a period of at least one (1) year) and submit the documents to AKSA DOĞALGAZ DISTRUBTION COMPANY,
- Make the installation,
- Assemble the device,
- Have the NATURAL GAS DISTRUBTION COMPANY check the installation,
- Receive the certificate of conformity for the installation from NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY.
- When the installation company is selected, make sure that the company has the installation company certificate received from NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION COMPANY, the company has at least one ENGINEER, one WELDER and GAS INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN and they all have certificate of competency.

4. PREPARE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR NATURAL GAS USE CONTRACT
- Subscription number of the location, for which the contract is to be drawn up,
- Authorized Signatures List
- Lease contract for the person on behalf of whom the contract will be drawn up or the address subject to the contract (for the tenants)
- Tax Registration Certificate or Tax Inspection Certificate (if the registered address is different, Trading License)
- Identity card and its copy (it must have the TR Identity Number on it.)
5. SIGN THE NATURAL GAS USE CONTRACT
- After the installation is completed, the natural gas user visits the natural gas distribution company with the documents required for the contract, signs the Natural Gas Subscription Contract and pays the Security Deposit. This contract is drawn up by the person who will use the fas in the apartment and/or the commercial enterprise.
NOTE:
Meter installation is done after natural Gas Contract is signed and Security Deposit is paid.
