Certification Processes

Individuals or legal entities wishing to provide services in the field of internal installations and service lines are required to obtain an Internal Installations and Service Lines Certificate from the licensed distribution company, appropriate to the scope of activities they intend to carry out.

Individuals or legal entities wishing to obtain an Internal Installations and Service Lines Certificate must apply to the relevant distribution company by submitting the “Certificate Application Petition,” “Letter of Undertaking,” and all information and documents specified in the relevant application petition. Certificate applications are evaluated within 30 (thirty) days at the latest.

If the application is approved, the applicant is notified that they are eligible to receive the certificate and informed of the certificate service fee payable.

If any missing or incorrect information or documentation is identified in the application, the applicant is notified of the matters requiring correction. If the notified deficiencies or inaccuracies are not remedied within 30 (thirty) days from the date of notification, the application is deemed not to have been made and the application documents are returned.

The certificate service fee must be paid into the distribution company’s account within 30 (thirty) days from the date of notification. If the fee is not paid within the specified period, the certificate application is rejected and the application documents are returned. Once the certificate service fee has been paid within the prescribed period, the certificate is issued and delivered to the applicant.

The certificate, together with the rights and obligations of the certified individual or legal entity arising from the applicable legislation, takes effect as of the date specified on the certificate.
