Ahmet Yiğit completed his undergraduate studies in 2013 at the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at Middle East Technical University and went on to earn an International MBA from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands on an academic merit scholarship. Yiğit began his professional career in 2015 as a Sales Analyst at EWE Energy under the Sales and Marketing Department’s Management Trainee Program, and subsequently worked as a Specialist in Strategy, Business Development, and Risk Management at Kayserigaz, a subsidiary of the EWE Group. At SOCAR Turkey’s Natural Gas Business Unit, Yiğit served as a Senior Specialist in the Integration Management Office and in the fields of HSE and Quality Management during the post-M&A restructuring process from 2019 to 2020, and as a Manager in the Tariff and Investment Management field from 2021 –2025, he served as a Manager in the Tariff and Investment Management department. In 2025, following the transfer of Bursagaz and Kayserigaz, Yiğit joined Aksa Natural Gas. As of January 2026, Yiğit continues to serve as the Director of Business Development and R&D.
