Özlem Coşkun graduated with a scholarship from Istanbul Bilgi University, earning degrees in Business Administration and Psychology. She completed her master's degree in Accounting and Finance at Marmara University. Coşkun started her professional career between 2009 and 2014 as a Budget and Reporting Specialist at a retail company under Empik Group. She then worked at Akenerji, a subsidiary of Akkök Holding, from 2014 to 2022, where she held positions as Senior Budget and Control Specialist and Budget and Control Manager. In 2022, she joined Aksa Doğalgaz Dağıtım A.Ş. as the Budget and Reporting Manager.
