A graduate of Yıldız Technical University in Geodesy and Photogrammetry (Surveying Engineer), Selahattin Alioğlu worked at İGDAŞ Istanbul Gas and Natural Gas Distribution Inc. for 13 consecutive years in various roles: Engineer from 1992 to 1993, Mapping Chief from 1993 to 1997, and Control Engineer from 1997 to 2004. From 2004 to 2023, he served as Mapping and Expropriation Manager across 21 natural gas distribution companies operating under Kazancı Holding. As of February 2023, he has been serving as Mapping and Expropriation Group Manager. He also served as Commission Chair in the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) certification work for Surveyor and GIS Operator occupations under GAZMER.
