Şinasi Gölbaşı, who completed his master’s degree at Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Chemical Engineering, began his professional career at Aksa Doğalgaz in 2004 as a Measurement Engineer, subsequently holding the positions of Gas Control Manager and Operations Director. Gölbaşı, who also managed the Natural Gas Wholesale business line from 2007, when wholesale became liberalized in Türkiye, until 2020, was appointed Director of Gas Dispatch and Trading in 2016. Gölbaşı, who is responsible for supply and retail sales, customer processes, measurement, automation, and dispatch control operations, was appointed as a member of the Aksa Doğalgaz Executive Committee in 2023 and as Vice President of Retail Trade and Customer Operations in 2024. As of 2026, Gölbaşı continues his career as Vice President responsible for the management of Aksa Bursa Doğalgaz and as a Board Member, in addition to his current duties.
