Necati Baykal graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He began his professional career in 1982 as the Production Planning Manager at WAT Electric Motor Factory. In 1984, he was appointed as the Import Manager at Aksa Makine Sanayi A.Ş. After holding various executive positions within Kazancı Holding companies, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Aksa Generator. Currently, Necati Baykal serves as the Chairman of the Board at Aksa Generator, the Chairman of the Board of Kazancı Holding's Electricity Distribution Companies, and a Board Member of Aksa Natural Gas.
